About Me

I'm so glad you're here in my little corner of the internet to view my artwork! My name is Steph or Stephanie, you'll see both interchanged across my platforms because I go by both. For as long as I can remember, I've had my hands in visual art of some form. I have my BFA in Printmaking from MassArt which led me to working as a custom framer on Cape Cod by day and professional artist/photographer by night. Though we have since left the Cape and moved back to Western Mass. I'm still energetically connected to both areas and feel drawn to making work that celebrates both. 

I love the accessibility of watercolor. It is a “trust the process” type of medium, like printmaking. Watercolor involves a level of submission to the process in order to arrive at the final piece. It forces you to slow down and sit with the artwork for a little while, which is a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of other facets of life.
